Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical system design for commercial, healthcare, and mission-critical building projects in Taipei. This senior-level role is responsible for providing technical leadership, overseeing HVAC and plumbing system design, and mentoring engineering staff within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for commercial, healthcare, institutional, and mission-critical facilities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, energy standards, and client specifications.
- Support construction administration, including submittal review, RFI responses, and field coordination.
- Perform advanced load calculations, energy analysis, equipment selection, and system sizing.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedule, quality, and budget targets.
- Oversee preparation and review of construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and engineering practices.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Coordinate closely with electrical, structural, architectural, and BIM teams.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and coordination sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in HVAC and building systems design.
- Strong experience with commercial, healthcare, or mission-critical projects.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of mechanical codes, energy efficiency principles, and system integration.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Experience leading projects and mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
