Accountabilities
- Partner with Director of Sales to pinpoint regions rich in new account prospects.
- Establish new retail partnerships, focusing on independent and small-chain convenience stores.
- Ensure excellence in merchandising when opening accounts.
- Act as the brand ambassador, controlling the initial sales cycle.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth transitions for newly opened accounts.
- Monitor sales performance, market feedback, and competitive insights.
- Aid in marketing events and sampling initiatives within your market.
Requirements
- Passionate sales professional with proven success in field sales, particularly in convenience retail.
- 5+ years of CPG sales experience preferred, with knowledge of DSD systems and retail dynamics.
- Outstanding relationship-building abilities across various stakeholders.
- Adept at working independently with significant travel (90%-100%).
- Entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in creating opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, highly organized, and goal-focused.
