Senior Manager, SSG Strategy - Lenovo
Lenovo is seeking aSenior Manager, SSG Strategyto design, communicate, and accelerate business strategy across theglobalSolutions and Services Group (SSG). This role plays a critical part in translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, partnering closely with business teams to drive execution and deliver measurable outcomes.
You will lead the development of business strategies, analyze market intelligence, and provide insights that shape strategic direction and growth opportunities across SSG portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Design & Execution
- Design and communicate business strategy, ensuring alignment with SSG priorities and Lenovo's broader goals
- Land and accelerate strategic initiatives by developing actionable business plans and partnering closely with business teams
- Support strategic planning cycles and help translate strategy into execution across functions
Market Intelligence & Growth Insights
- Analyze market intelligence, industry trends, and competitive data to identify opportunities and risks
- Provide insights to inform strategic direction and business decision-making
- Identify growth opportunities across product lines and service portfolio offerings
Strategic Analysis & Planning
- Develop strategic frameworks and analytical models to support business planning
- Define target markets, including Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Serviceable Available Market (SAM)
- Conduct deeper analysis to identify portfolio opportunities and expansion areas
Business Case & Opportunity Development
- Build and present business cases for new initiatives, investments, and growth opportunities
- Support make-versus-buy decisions and contribute to partnership, merger, or acquisition evaluations
- Develop proposals aligned with strategic priorities
Program Tracking & Governance
- Track progress against strategic goals and initiatives, ensuring visibility and accountability
- Monitor execution and provide regular updates on strategy progress to leadership
- Help drive initiatives to successful outcomes through structured follow-up and coordination
Executive Communication & Storytelling
- Create compelling, data-driven presentations to communicate strategy, insights, and recommendations
- Clearly articulate complex analyses to leaders across multiple levels of the organization
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate with business teams to develop and execute strategy across SSG portfolios
- Partner across functions to ensure alignment, drive progress, and accelerate impact
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Engineering, or related field preferred)
8+ years of experience in strategy,management consulting, corporate/business development, or equivalentbusiness roles
Strong analytical capability paired withthe communication skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable insight
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree
Management consulting experience at tier-1 firms: McKinsey / Bain / BCG
Experience with tech services, solutions, or recurring revenues (XaaS) strategy
Track record ofmanaging multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
