Senior Manager, RWS Legal

Key Responsibilities:

Contract review and advice:

• Contract review, drafting and assisting on negotiations on a broad range of contracts
• Providing hands-on guidance on legal and commercial affairs with the ability to identify and analyze issues with clear recommendations
• Advise internal stakeholders of contractual rights, obligations, and interpretation of terms

Risk Mitigation:

• Identify key legal risks and provide strategic legal advice to mitigate these risks
• Support the resolution of legal disputes
• Collaborate with and manage external counsels and advisors to address complex legal matters and protect the company's interests

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Effective communication and stakeholder management (business-partnering mindset)

Legal Strategy:

• Monitor and analyze developments in the law and regulatory changes that may impact the company

Required Qualifications:

• Law degree or J.D. from a reputable university and admitted to the Singapore Bar
• PQE of 7-10 years, preferably with some exposure in a law firm setting

Skills:

• Preferable to have some exposure to Intellectual Property issues
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment where there is a need to balance competing timelines and stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multi time-sensitive projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented lawyer, who is comfortable working independently and possesses a can-do attitude

• 5 days/week in-office
