About The Job
In this role, you will lead a 25-person team ensuring products meet strict customer quality standards. You will also serve as a key partner in the cross-functional ecosystem—overseeing quality-related aspects of design, prototyping, and production—while focusing on team development, process efficiency, and strategic alignment.
Success is measured by on-time launches, meeting field quality goals, and overall execution of product and manufacturing quality deliverables. You will drive continuous improvement across product generations while advancing team capabilities and maintaining effective cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities
- Launch innovative products on time, meeting goals for customer quality, including phones and other Google-designed personal consumer electronics and accessories.
- Support early development to ensure products are designed for quality prior to release, ensuring prototype builds meet readiness goals.
- Manage quality performance, ramp approval, and issue resolution during product ramp and ship to market.
- Facilitate ongoing reliability testing across production lines to ensure manufacturing quality through the end of planned builds.
- Prevent potential field issues through a robust prediction framework and own the early field quality returns process to drive corrective actions.
