The Urban Renewal Authority (URA) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Oversee IT operation teams including infrastructure, operation and user support
Manage end-to-end process of IT projects, including feasibility assessment, planning, design, implementation and support
Research on new technologies and recommend the adoption of new IT products / technologies as appropriate
Review, recommend, enforce and implement IT-related standards, policies and procedures, including but not limited to security measures, system maintenance, purchasing, vendor selection and management
Prepare and manage IT budget and control expenditure
Lead the team to provide IT trainings and daily IT support to users, including analysing support cases and executing improvement measures while also managing internal training needs of different IT teams to enhance their capability and expertise
Requirements:
Degree holder in Computer Studies, Information Technology, Engineering, or other related discipline
Recognised relevant professional qualification(s) / certification(s)
Minimum 10 years experience in electronic data processing (EDP) a dministration or combined project development and management comprising a minimum of 5 years experience in information system security / standards / risk management and 5 years at a managerial capacity within sizable organisations
Knowledge of variety of hardware and software of computer application program interface with multi-networking and commercial environment
Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
