Senior Manager - Finance

Job Overview

Assist Senior Associate Director in overseeing the Financial Accounting and Reporting team, lead and supervise the financial accounting and reporting function including the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely month-end closing process and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely month-end closing processes and annual financial statements in accordance with HKFRS.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and corporate reporting requirements.
• Manage external audits, including liaison with auditors on audit findings and with valuers on property and financial investment valuations.
• Lead and supervise the Group's consolidation across multiple jurisdictions, including Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland, and the United Kingdom.
• Implement and maintain robust accounting policies and procedures.
• Monitor updates to accounting standards and assess their impact on the Group.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as FP&A, treasury, and operations.
• Act as a key liaison with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators and consultants.
• Support the Group's ad-hoc corporate activities such as M&A, restructuring.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
• CPA certification or equivalent professional qualification

Experience and skills:

• Minimum of 12 years accounting experience with both big 4 and in-house experiences
• Proficiency in Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards, particularly group consolidation
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical mindset with keen attention to details
• Proven experience in managing sizable teams
• Excellent information management, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Independent, self-motivated, capable of meeting tight deadlines
• Ability to multi-task and respond effectively to ad-hoc requests
• High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Well-versed in MS Office and experience in using SAP is an advantage
