Job Description:
The Role
This will be an important management position for Entegris Taiwan Technology Center (TTC). The person will lead a group of professional chemists and engineers to support Entegris Advanced Purity Solutions (APS) division.
In this role you will
- Manage day-to-day operations for APS metrology group at TTC locations. The APS group has 4 technical teams (Organic/Metal/Retention/on-Wafer) with 13 chemists/engineers.
- Ensure lab operation and personnel safety
- Develop and mentor group members career development
- Manage hazardous lab chemicals.
- Lead new method development efforts in the following areas
- Organic analysis method development using LC-Orbitrap, GCMS, GC-FID, PY-GCMS, GC-QQQ, and NVR techniques
- Metal analysis method development using ICPMS, SNP-ICPMS and in-line ICPMS.
- Retention method using G2/G3 Gel particle, DMA, In-line DMA and DMA composite.
- On-wafer analysis using ACT-12, SU-3100, G7, SP7 to support in-house beta sample evaluation.
- Working Global application and R&D teams as well as metrology teams to support business growth and satisfy customer requirements.
- Lead the effort to identify and implement state-of-the-art testing capability and increase technology barrier between competitors with innovative ideas.
- Improve lab operational efficiency, tool up-time, utilization rate, beta sample success rate, etc.
- Grow the lab testing capacity to enhance customer support flexibility.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
- Lab and people Management skills are required.
- Knowledge of various metrology techniques is a must.
- Proficient in English verbal and written skills are highly preferred.
- Experiences in lab/fab environment is a plus.
- Experiences in various 300mm wafer process tool is a plus.
- Willing to learn 300mm wafer wet/lithography process and hardware is a plus.
- Experiences handling highly hazardous chemicals is highly preferred.
- Self-driven, self-motivated, and work independently to achieve goals.
Education / Experience:
- MS/Ph.D Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science.
- Over 7/5 years working experience as a Lab Manager/Supervisor
