ABOUT THE ROLE
SKG Family Office manages the financial, investment and administrative affairs of the family across its constituent entities – individual family members, a private limited company, a not for profit entity Anandaya Foundation. The Senior Manager – Accounts & Finance will own the accounting, financial reporting, banking and taxation function across both the family office and the Foundation, working in close coordination with the Founder's office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Books of Accounts & Financial Reporting
• Oversee timely preparation, updation and finalisation of books of accounts across all constituent entities of the family office – individuals, the private limited company, the trust and other affiliated structures – as well as for Anandaya Foundation.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and audit-readiness of financial records; coordinate with statutory auditors and internal stakeholders for periodic audits and closures.
MIS & Reporting
• Oversee the Monthly MIS for the Founder, consolidating financial performance, cash position and key metrics across all entities.
• Continuously refine MIS formats and reporting cadence to give the Founder clear, timely visibility into the financial health of each entity.
Banking & Treasury
• Manage banking relationships across all group entities – account operations, facilities, documentation and day-to-day liaison with relationship managers.
• Oversee fund flow planning and treasury operations across entities to ensure liquidity and optimal utilisation of funds.
Costing – Anandaya Foundation
• Own costing for Anandaya Foundation, including programme/project-wise cost tracking, budgeting and variance analysis to support donor and grant reporting requirements.
Structuring & Governance
• Take ownership of execution of structuring decisions made by the Founder/family office – driving implementation across the individual, corporate (Pvt Ltd), trust and other constituent structures.
• Coordinate with legal, tax and compliance advisors to ensure structuring decisions are executed accurately and on time.
Taxation & Compliance
• Ensure timely preparation and filing of quarterly and yearly tax computations and returns (income tax, TDS, GST as applicable) across all constituent entities and the Foundation.
• Track relevant regulatory and tax changes and ensure ongoing compliance across entities.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Chartered Accountant (CA) / CA (Inter) / CMA / CMA (Inter)
• Relevant experience in accounts, finance and taxation, preferably within a family office, group company or multi-entity environment. At least 5-6 years of relevant experience.
• Prior exposure to trust and/or NGO or foundation accounting will be an advantage.
• Sound working knowledge of Indian tax laws (Income Tax, GST, TDS) and corporate/trust compliance requirements.
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
• Strong command over accounting standards, MIS preparation and financial analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management – banks, auditors, tax consultants and legal advisors.
• High discretion and trustworthiness, given regular exposure to confidential family and financial
information.
• Ownership mindset – able to independently drive execution of structuring and governance decisions.
