Senior/M&E Quantity Surveyor (A1 Main Con)

Our client is a leading A1 main contractor with a strong record of mixed development, residential, commercial and MRT projects. They're currently looking for Senior/M&E Quantity Surveyors to join their expanding team. There are opportunities to be based at the HQ or be part of a mega iconic building project. Roles are on a 5 day work week schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage all costs related to mechanical & electrical engineering projects
• Ensure that M&E installations are delivered within budget
• Develop comprehensive project budgets and monitor financial progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and manage contracts and bids for M&E suppliers and subcontractors
• Review and ensure all M&E works are in compliance with building and safety standards
• Evaluate contract terms with suppliers, contractors and subcontractors
• Coordinate closely with clients, architects and engineers to resolve any M&E related contractual disputes

Requirements

• Degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant M&E QS experience in the construction industry
• Knowledgeable in M&E systems, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems etc.
• Candidates with more experience can be considered for the Senior QS position.
