Senior Legal Counsel

We have an opportunity with one of the trading company in Singapore for the role of Senior Legal Counsel. Please find the below details. Candidates willing to relocate to Singapore may apply for the same.

Role : Senior Legal Counsel

Location : Singapore

Must-haves:

• 10+ years PQE (or equivalent)
• Strong hands-on experience in freight / shipping documentation/ banking & contracts (COAs, charterparties, bills of lading, demurrage/despatch, claims)
• Solid arbitration & disputes exposure (preferably SIAC/LMAA/GAFTA/FOSFA or similar)
• Prior legal experience within metals / commodities trading (in-house or trading-focused firm)
• Commercial, deal-oriented personality; able to move fast and hold the line with counterparties

Should-have:

• Knowledge of trade finance / sanctions / compliance in commodities
• Regional experience across Asia / Middle East routes
