Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Lecturer in the Master of Arts in Translation Programme (MAT) in the School of Chinese (Ref.: 533296). The position is expected to commence as soon as possible and no later than January 2026, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
Founded in 2019, the MAT Programme aims to equip students for careers such as translators, interpreters, copywriters, editors, language teachers, and academic researchers, with an emphasis on the translation and interpreting markets and Hong Kong's unique academic conventions that integrate insights from both Chinese and Western research.
