Our client, a well renowned institutional investment group is now look for a Senior / Lead Software Engineer to join their regional technology team.
The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of working experiences in dealing with order execution trading engine / brokerage management system or other wealth management related software.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain high-availability Java applications using the Spring ecosystem. Lead the evolution of our microservices architecture and core business capabilities (fund transfers, account management, trading workflows).
APIs & Integration: Architect and govern RESTful APIs, gRPC services, and complex system integrations.
Next-Gen Tech & AI Integration: Build backend services supporting virtual asset trading, digital asset platforms, and AI-enabled automation pipelines.
Security & Identity: Design robust authentication, authorization, and permission frameworks, coordinating complex system security workflows.
Quality & Leadership: Write clean, testable code, guide technical decisions, perform rigorous code reviews, and mentor engineering peers.
Performance & Reliability: Optimize application performance, lead production troubleshooting, and ensure enterprise-grade system stability and resilience.
What We Are Looking For
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 8+ years of professional Java development experience with extensive hands-on expertise in the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA).
System Design: Deep understanding of distributed systems, high-concurrency processing, high-availability architecture, and fault tolerance.
Core Tech Stack:
Databases & ORM: Strong command of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA).
Messaging & Caching: Practical experience with Redis, Apache Kafka, or similar event-driven platforms.
Delivery: Proven experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern agile software delivery.
Communication: Fluent and proficient in both English and Chinese to facilitate cross-team collaboration.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Domain experience in fintech, securities brokerage, wealth management, trading platforms, or clearing/settlement systems.
Advanced security knowledge: JWT, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, FIDO2, WebAuthn, passkeys, and biometric authentication/device binding.
Experience with GraphQL APIs and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Cloud-native and containerization experience using Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud providers (AWS, Alibaba Cloud).
Background in developing low-latency, high-concurrency trading or real-time data systems.
