Senior Lead, Partnership Development (Life & Employee Benefits) Asia

About the Role

As Senior Lead, Partnership Development (Life & Employee Benefits) Asia, you will be responsible for accelerating Zurich's growth and presence across Hong Kong and Asia. Your focus is to build, strengthen, and manage strategic partnerships with leading corporate brokers, financial advisors, and key strategic partners, including global firms serving Mass Affluent and High Net Worth (HNW) clients. In this leadership role, you will champion cross-selling opportunities across Zurich International, Zurich's Life and Non-Life portfolios, deepen engagement with corporate clients and their members, and drive the expansion of Zurich's partner network. You will play a key role in developing innovative products, broker facilities, and new distribution strategies, sharing best practices across the region and supporting Zurich International Life, Zurich Hong Kong Life, and Zurich Hong Kong Non-Life.

Job Accountabilities

• Strategic Partnership Management: Position Zurich as the partner of choice in Hong Kong by developing and nurturing long-term relationships with international brokers, financial advisors, and intermediaries. Identify and pursue new alliances to drive growth
• Business Development & Revenue Growth: Lead the sales cycle, expand Zurich's distribution footprint, and negotiate impactful partnership agreements. Drive revenue across Employee Benefits, Affinity, Accident & Travel, and HNW segments in collaboration with Zurich International and Zurich Hong Kong
• Product Expertise & Solution Design: Provide partners with expert product guidance and solutions for corporates and their members -covering health, life, accident, wellness, and wealth programs for corporate, Mass Affluent and HNW clients
• Cross-Selling & Member Engagement: Promote systematic cross-selling between Life and Non-Life portfolios, maximizing value for corporate clients and delivering relevant retail solutions to their members
• Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform business strategies and support continuous product innovation
• Operational Excellence: Collaborate with internal teams (finance, marketing, underwriting, operations) to ensure seamless broker engagement, efficient processes, and high-quality service delivery
• Special Projects & Innovation: Lead high-impact initiatives-including broker SME facilities and affinity programs-to drive the adoption of Zurich's comprehensive product suite
• Share of Wallet & Retention: Grow Zurich's share of wallet among partners through new business development and retention initiatives. Support local teams in delivering consistent, high partner satisfaction across employee benefits, SME, and affinity portfolios
• Brand Promotion: Represent Zurich at industry forums, events, and associations, enhancing market visibility and reinforcing Zurich's leadership and capabilities

Job Qualifications

• University degree LOMA/Brokers license or equivalent qualification preferred
• Minimum 15 years of experience in life insurance, employee benefits, or distribution/partnership management in Hong Kong and Asia
• Demonstrated success building broker partnerships, including with global firms serving Mass Affluent and HNW clients
• Proven sales, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with a strong presence at industry events and forums
• Deep expertise in employee benefits, affinity solutions, HNW life insurance, and cross-border wealth management
• Commercial mindset, strong analytical skills, and ability to influence senior partners and stakeholders
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
