We are looking for a Senior Java Developer (Integration) to join our client's technology team in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise integration solutions using Java, Spring Boot and Apache Camel.
- Develop and maintain Camel routes, components and message mediation flows.
- Integrate applications and services using REST/SOAP APIs and messaging technologies.
- Work with messaging platforms such as Kafka, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ.
- Support applications in production, including incident investigation, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to performance tuning, capacity planning, application upgrades and migrations.
- Work with containerized environments including Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure and business teams to deliver reliable integration services.
- Follow CI/CD and DevOps practices using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab or Azure DevOps.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional technology experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid commercial experience with Apache Camel and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience developing and supporting production-grade integration solutions.
- Good understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML and XSLT.
- Experience with enterprise messaging technologies such as Kafka, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or financial-services environments is highly desirable.
