Senior IT System Engineer, Financial Services (Hong Kong) (CLOSED)

Our client is an international financial services firm that provides fund accounting and administration services to clients in the private equity fund industry. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for IT System Senior Engineer and the position is based in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the firm's IT system and drive the digitization of business applications
• Collaborate with the management to design and implement IT projects so to improve the firm's IT system and business applications
• Work with external IT partner to develop project architecture and development that meet the business needs
• Provide guidance and lead the junior IT team members
• Work with internal users on troubleshooting technical issues and ensure optimal performance
• Take ownership of the overall IT projects and functions
• Keep abreast of the latest IT trends so to contribute ideas to the business

Key Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT working experience with solid programming or software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other disciplines
• Knowledge of the Wolfram Language / Mathematica, VBA and SQL is advantageous
• Strong technical leadership, common sense with technical brain
