Could you be the full-time Senior Installation Coordinator (Signalling) in Xindian District, New Taipei City, Taiwan we're looking for This is to join our Taipei Metro, Taipei Circular Line Signaling Project in Alstom Taiwan.
This role is a vital supporter of the project Installation team, working in close collaboration with site teams and third parties such as Metro company, customers, making sure all planned installation activities are well arranged and implemented.
What are my responsibilities
In compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards, the Installation coordinator executes the Installation site management and activities, in coordination with the Project Installation Manager, Project Managers and Installation Supervisors, including:
- Work with installation planner to arrange site works for different supervisors
- to apply work permit to AC consortium team and metro company
- Check and maintain site team EHS readiness and equipment.
- Make sure installation drawings are latest and approved.
- Review method statement and drawings and provide comment for improvement
- Prepare site work 4M1E checklist before start of installation (material, machinary, method, man, environment)
- Coordinate with OCC for work arrangement or changes of location.
- Coordinate with NTMC or Customers for site activities.
- Manage & record the labours performance.
- Collect all input (markup dwg, installation reports, self-inspection checklist, as-built, ...) from site supervisor and transfer back to engineers.
- To be supervisor & backup of the site team
- Continuous improvement:
- Return REX
- Record the daily process into progress report.
- Record anomalies and arrange follow up action.
- Arrange defect rectification.
What do I need to qualify for the job
- Engineering degree (Electronic/Mechanical) level or equivalent education.
- Solid knowledge and experience in railway signalling is an advantage.
- Solid experience in brown field project is an advantage.
- Experience on railway site management is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Railway products and services knowledge on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M)
- 5+ years of experience in design, drafting or engineering (Project and/or construction experience appreciated)
- Civil/E&M construction interfacing.
- Fluent in English & Mandarin as mandatory.
- SIG Installation Coordinator- experience in co-ordination, manage shifts, site work coordination, manage labour shift and supervisor work arrangement.
- Solid Metro brown field experience will be advantage
- Co-ordination experience with Operational control center (OCC) will be advantage.
- Site Supervision experience is required.
- Flexible with night shifts.
