Job Description

About The Position

The team is seeking a strategic Senior HR Business Partner to partner with our business leaders to drive people strategy, talent outcomes and operational excellence. The candidate is required to be the trusted HR advisor on workforce planning, performance & rewards, career mobility, and change initiatives that help the business grow, stay compliant and deliver for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted and experienced HR advisor to senior business leaders and team heads, translating business strategy into people priorities and actionable HR plans.
  • Workforce Planning & Mobility: Drive workforce planning, hiring prioritization, internal mobility, and role design to ensure the right capability mix across product, distribution, and support functions.
  • Performance & Rewards: Advise on performance calibration, bonus and promotion decisions, and partner with the Rewards team to ensure pay structures are aligned with market practices and internal benchmarks.
  • Employee Lifecycle & Engagement: Oversee onboarding, retention initiatives with a particular focus on early-tenure employees, engagement action plans, and exit analysis to help reduce attrition and improve productivity.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure HR practices comply with local regulatory requirements and Group policies; support audits, policy refreshes, and remediation of HR issues across jurisdictions.
  • HR Operations & Analytics: Partner with the HR Operations team to streamline processes, improve data quality, and provide leadership with meaningful people insights and dashboards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong and collaborative relationships with business leaders, functional partners, and external advisors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline; an MBA or other advanced degree is an advantage
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, with substantial exposure to asset management, financial services, or another regulated industry
  • Strong knowledge of talent management, performance calibration, compensation frameworks, and workforce planning
  • Excellent consulting, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to advise senior investment professionals and business leaders
  • Data-savvy, with experience using HRIS and people analytics to support decision-making
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high emotional intelligence
  • Demonstrated ethics, integrity, and professionalism
