Supporting the Director, IFRS Performance Management, responsible for:
- Reviewing, analysing and interpreting business units IFRS financial performance, and its consistency with TEV and other reporting metrics.
- Providing timely and insightful IFRS financial reporting and management information to Group stakeholders.
- Business partner, providing business and accounting guidance, and sharing best practice.
Job Requirements:
- Proactively review and analyse IFRS submissions, and clearly articulate key performance and technical issues.
- Work closely with the Group Finance and Actuarial reporting team, the regional performance management teams, and local business units on identified issues, and collaborate on appropriate resolutions.
- Manage quarterly, half-yearly, and annual processes and deliverables relating to IFRS actual reporting, the 3-year Plan, and quarterly forecasts, including external disclosures.
- Consolidate the results and prepare analysis and management reports with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure relevant and accurate financial & management information are made available to senior management.
- Proactively review and improve IFRS processes and workflows to deliver increased operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in investigations to optimise financial outcomes and enhance consistency in application across the Group.
- Support the assessment of BUs AIB outcomes.
Job Qualifications:
- University degree
- Professional actuarial/accounting qualification
- Minimum 8 years experience in finance/accounting/actuarial roles
- Solid IFRS 17 knowledge and experience
- Strong analytical and problems solving skills, with good attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly responsible, strong time and task management skills to ensure on-time high quality delivery
- Excellent numerical, written, and verbal communications skills
- Proactive in learning and development, proactive to improve efficiency and existing operational processes
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- Experiences in common accounting and MI systems, e.g. OneStream, Oracle, Hyperion, SAS, Anaplan etc.
- Excellent written and spoken English
