The Role
As Senior Legal Counsel, you will be instrumental in guiding the organization through complex litigation and regulatory challenges. Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will advise senior stakeholders on litigation, regulatory, and investigative matters. You will evaluate evidentiary strength and assess risk exposure in both active and potential cases. You will also contribute legal insight to governance frameworks and operational initiatives. Supporting internal investigations, you will ensure compliance and uphold ethical standards. Finally, you will mentor junior lawyers, fostering professional growth and a culture of excellence.
Ideal Candidate
- Hong Kong-qualified solicitor with 10+ years PQE in financial services litigation.
- Strong academic background from a respected institution.
- International law firm training with proven experience in complex matters.
- Fluent in English and proficient in reviewing Chinese legal documents.
- Exceptional analytical ability to distill complex issues into clear, actionable advice.
- Collaborative approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
