Senior Finance & Tax Specialist (Netherlands)

ASUS is looking for a Senior Finance & Tax Specialist, located at Amsterdam Netherlands, who is passionate about financial management and has extensive knowledge of European indirect tax regulations. Job Responsibilities

• Monthly and Annual Financial Closing: Responsible for the monthly and annual financial closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements. Prepare and submit the required financial and accounting information for the Headquarters on a monthly basis. Generate internal analysis reports for management review
• VAT Filing: Review all related documents for monthly and annual VAT(NL OSS and other EU countries) filings. Coordinate with external consultants to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Annual Income Tax Audit and Filing: Manage the annual income tax audit and filing processes. Act as the primary contact point with the Dutch Tax Authorities, addressing and resolving any disputes or issues.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile EBS (Oracle) reports with Magento sales reports to ensure data accuracy.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and requirements

Qualifications and background

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Proven experience in financial reporting, VAT filing, and tax compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication in English and coordination abilities
• 4 or more years of experience in accounting and tax is highly preferred
