Senior Finance Executive (Oracle NetSuite)

My client is a well-established engineering firm in Singapore, currently rolling out Oracle NetSuite across its office and project sites. They're looking for a hands-on finance professional to help drive the implementation and then own core accounting operations once the system is live.

This is a rare chance to be at the centre of a full accounting system transformation, from set-up and training through to go-live and business-as-usual.

What you'll do

• Play a key role in the NetSuite rollout: system set-up, staff training, and being a go-to contact (alongside IT) between users and the external software developer, before and after go-live
• Support new reporting standards, GST and income tax reporting
• Help roll out bank payment integrations and IRAS / vendor integration
• Verify and input supplier and subcontractor invoices, check petty cash claims, and run scheduled monthly payment batches
• Support monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting to head office
• Assist with the annual audit, income tax computation and GST audits

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite ideally including implementation or rollout exposure
• At least 5 - 10 years of full-set / AP accounting background
• Familiarity with Singapore GST, income tax and / IRAS requirements
• Experience in construction / engineering environment is a plus
