Senior Finance Executive

Morgan McKinley is partnering with an established organization to recruit a Senior Finance Executive. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the month-end closing process, maintaining general ledger integrity, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate journal entries, month-end closing activities, cost reports, and P&L statements.
• Perform regular GL reconciliations with solid supporting documentation to ensure precision across all financial transactions.
• Analyze revenue, expense, and balance sheet variances; review financial statements to provide meaningful insights to the business.
• Track operational budgets, evaluate spend, and recommend adjustments to manage costs effectively.
• Support internal/external audits and uphold internal controls in accordance with US GAAP, SOX, and company policies.
• Partner with internal business units to address financial discrepancies and foster strong cross-departmental relationships.
• Maintain financial databases, ensure seamless data entry for reporting, and assist with financial system management.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on, relevant general ledger accounting experience.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, ledger structures, and financial reporting standards.
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, effective time management, and a track record of meeting tight deadlines.
