Senior Finance & Accounting Manager

About the Company

Our client is a Globally Established Shipping and Maritime Multinational with a strong presence across key international markets. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Finance & Accounting Manager to support their regional finance operations.

About the Role

Reporting to Senior Finance Leadership, this role will be responsible for overseeing group consolidation, financial reporting, audit, and tax compliance, while supporting business performance through financial analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead group consolidation processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with SFRS/IFRS
• Review financial submissions from regional entities and perform intercompany eliminations
• Manage year-end audits and liaise with external auditors
• Oversee tax compliance, including corporate tax and transfer pricing matters
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis
• Provide insights on financial trends and key business drivers to stakeholders
• Drive process improvements and support system enhancements
• Mentor and guide junior finance team members

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Professional certification (ACCA / CA Singapore) preferred
• 8-10 years of relevant experience, ideally with Big 4 / mid-tier audit background
• Strong experience in group consolidation and financial reporting
• Good knowledge of SFRS/IFRS standards
• Experience in shipping, logistics, or asset-heavy industries is advantageous
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
