Senior Field Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Define general engineering approaches as well as specific process solutions. Execute fundamental engineering design and analysis with management approval. Coordinate and/or perform statistical analysis of failure rates.
• Understand competitive scope for tools and processes. Update database.
• Provide technical instruction, leadership on installs, repair, operations and calibration. Informing others of new procedures. May provide direction to other FPE's.

Specifically, candidates should have:

• Generally 4+ years of appropriate experience in semiconductor fabrication or other semiconductor capital equipment supplier.
• Minimum of a BS in Chemistry, Physics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive interface with Product Groups (i.e. Apps/Dev/SW/Tech Support/Manufacturing/Engineering) with technical information, as well as customer interface with process and equipment engineers.
• Interface directly with customer at a management level. May interface with Fab level management. May coordinate and lead customer meetings. Conduct customer presentations.
• Should exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and resources. Requires considerable autonomy.
• Plan, manage, and execute specific projects within specified timelines.
• Determine process priorities and impact throughout a given project. Recommend projects to be initiated to the customer and management.
