Job Summary
The Senior Facilities Manager serves as the primary visionary and strategist for operational excellence, acting as the single point of contact for service delivery within country. This role requires deep understanding of client business needs and encompasses responsibility for overall operations, including standard procedures, system reports, and relevant technologies. Beyond operational delivery, the Senior Facilities Manager will also hold direct accountability for Profit & Loss (P&L), driving business growth and expansion (across various JLL service offering). Growing relationships and managing complex client organisation is also core of this role's expectation.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Develop and implement operational strategies and plans including key areas of focus in operational resiliency, sustainability, experiences, governance, etc.
- Oversee all operational aspects including standard procedures, system reports, and technology deployment.
- Manage account operations and resources (technology, manpower, and standard operating procedures).
- Ensure smooth and seamless service delivery execution.
- Drive and implement risk management program across portfolio by identifying major risks including occupational health and safety, fire safety and essential services and environment, etc and put in place mitigation plans.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the single point of contact for country service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive understanding of clients key business drivers and decision-making processes.
- Align client outsourcing needs with organizational objectives for the account.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities for additional services.
Governance and Compliance
- Champion governance processes across the account.
- Ensure all parties fulfil contractual obligations and duties.
- Drive achievement of agreed key performance indicators (KPIs) and service levels.
- Manage compliance measures and standards.
- Implement and oversee effective change control processes.
Financial Management & Business Growth
- Assume full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for the facilities portfolio, driving strategies for revenue growth, cost optimization, and overall profitability.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and market trends to expand the facilities services footprint.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve business expansion goals, including identifying potential new service offerings.
- Develop property budgets and forecasts aligned with client finance calendars.
- Support clients in achieving financial targets (revenue, expenses, debtor, and growth goals).
- Manage fee collection and track outstanding payments.
- Monitor and control operational costs.
Procurement and Vendor Management
- Drive vendor procurement and vendor management strategies and ensure negotiation and tendering, including tender documentation; evaluation of tenders and preparation of contracts is in accordance with agreed client procurement guidelines and firm's objectives.
- Co-ordinate and monitor the contractor management program ensuring all vendors comply with all aspects of their agreement.
- Ensure the client and JLL Contract Management Database is up to date at all times.
Project Management
- Lead and manage minor Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) project delivery teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication for all minor CAPEX projects.
- Implement best practices in project management to optimize efficiency and outcomes for CAPEX initiatives.
Team Leadership and Development

Qualifications
Required Experience
- Minimum eight years of experience in facilities management and/or account management; experiences in project management and/or leasing management are beneficial.
- Fluent (written and spoken) in English and Mandarin.
- Proven track record managing complex account structures and client sensitivities.
- Strong technical and financial expertise in leading service delivery teams.
- Demonstrated experience in managing P&L for a business unit, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth and achieve financial targets.
