Senior Facilities Assistant

Fractional (50%) Senior Facilities Assistantin the Safety Office (Ref.: 535034) (To commence in May 2026 on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE/ HKDSEE/ equivalent or combination of specialized training, education and experience. They should also have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a variety of settings. Knowledge of chemistry and experience in the use of a variety of Microsoft software tools would be an advantage.

The appointee will be mainly office-based, supporting the operations of the chemical safety team in administering the purchase and distribution of chemicals, management of dangerous goods stores, and arrangements for the collection of chemical and clinical waste. Maintaining entries in a dangerous goods inventory system will also form part of the work scope.

Preference will be given to candidates who can work for 19.5 hours per week. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
