Senior Executive, Accounts

IME Group of Companies is a leading provider in the CAD | CAM | CAE and 3D engineering solutions industry. Through our group of subsidiaries with over 100 employees, we deliver a wide range of services including product design, validation, CAM, reverse engineering, rapid prototyping, and engineering consultancy.

We also provide technical support, training, and certification to Malaysia's engineering and manufacturing industries, as well as universities, polytechnics, and other educational institutions.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts profession with audit experience to join our growing team. You will play a key role in financial reporting, group consolidation, tax compliance, and supporting management with financial analysis and ad-hoc projects.

• Manage monthly financial reporting, including group consolidation of accounts across subsidiaries
• Ensure timely and accurate withholding tax (WHT) compliance and submissions in accordance with tax regulations
• Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors and tax agents
• Prepare financial analysis reports and assist management with ad-hoc reporting and special projects
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures
• Participate in continuous process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
  

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field
• 2–4 years of relevant working experience, preferably with audit firm exposure
• Knowledge of group consolidation and tax compliance is highly preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SQL, AutoCount)
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, proactive, and self-motivated
• Strong communication skills; ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage
• Willing to learn, adapt, and grow with the Group
• Able to start immediately or within short notice is preferred
