About The Role:
We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Director / Head of Quality to lead the global quality management strategy for a premier, multi-billion dollar Tier-1 advanced hardware components manufacturer. Managing a highly matrixed, multi-Business Unit (BU) production network, this executive will establish unified quality benchmarks, elevate organizational capabilities, and champion operational excellence across all production sites globally.
What You Will Do:
Global Quality Governance & Architecture
- Design, implement, and govern a unified, world-class Quality Management System (QMS) across all global manufacturing facilities and business units.
- Standardize corporate quality control policies, operational protocols, and compliance criteria to ensure absolute structural alignment.
- Orchestrate enterprise-wide training and adoption initiatives to embed a robust quality-first culture from engineering to shop floors.
Cross-BU Supervision & Risk Mitigation
- Direct regular audits, strategic performance assessments, and structural evaluations for all active Business Units.
- Validate QMS execution fidelity and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to guarantee targets are consistently achieved or exceeded.
- Act as the ultimate escalation point and executive coordinator for critical quality incidents, major client complaints, and root-cause resolution workflows.
Capability Engineering & Technical Leadership
- Build, mentor, and upscale a centralized Subject Matter Expert (SME) quality task force to provide technical advisory, internal consultancy, and strategic troubleshooting support to various sites.
- Propagate advanced statistical methodologies and cutting-edge quality tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, SPC) to drive continuous capability improvements.
Predictive Analytics & Quality Intelligence
- Pioneer advanced data-driven analysis architectures to monitor overarching quality trends, identifying systematic macro-level vulnerabilities across the enterprise.
- Synthesize complex operational data into actionable executive insights to preemptively mitigate supply chain or manufacturing risks.
Candidate Profile:
- 15+ years of progressive quality management leadership within high-volume, hyper-precision manufacturing ecosystems (e.g., advanced semiconductor packaging, premium electronics components, tier-1 automotive components, optical assemblies).
- Proven track record leading centralized quality functions in massive matrixed organizations with multiple factory sites and distinct Business Units.
- Deep mastery of multi-industry QMS frameworks, global compliance standards, and advanced statistical process controls.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing / Lean Sigma Black Belt
- Fluent in English and Mandarin to navigate global client interfaces and domestic operational teams smoothly.
