The Job
Due to the expansion of the business, a team is set up to drive the Company's accelerating growth strategy in non-HK regions. We are looking for the Senior Director to assist the Head of Business Development to plan, develop and execute the business planning:-
Formulate business strategies and sales plans to achieve growth in business and agency force in close collaboration of Head of Business Development
Implement the Company's business development strategy in non-HK regions, seize business opportunities and explore new customer segments to achieve the Company's strategic business objectives
Oversee the daily operations of the team in areas of communication, compliance, performance management of agents/managers, in accordance with the company guidelines and regulatory requirements
Build strong relationship with senior management and internal stakeholders to deliver effective agency growth plan
Keep abreast of market trends, landscape and industry best practice to ensure the competitiveness of new hire package and arrangement
Manage the implementation of activity management under his/her supervision to achieve productivity improvement.
The Person
University degree in any discipline with minimum of 15 years experience in insurance and/or financial services industry with at least 10 years in supervisory/managerial capacity agency channel knowledge is highly preferred
Strategic thinking
Excellent leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills
Strong business acumen and analytical skill
Solid experience in agency recruitment and management of life insurance
Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken)
Able to handle conflicts and self-motivated in difficult situations.
