The Job

Due to the expansion of the business, a team is set up to drive the Company's accelerating growth strategy in non-HK regions. We are looking for the Senior Director to assist the Head of Business Development to plan, develop and execute the business planning:-

• Formulate business strategies and sales plans to achieve growth in business and agency force in close collaboration of Head of Business Development

• Implement the Company's business development strategy in non-HK regions, seize business opportunities and explore new customer segments to achieve the Company's strategic business objectives

• Oversee the daily operations of the team in areas of communication, compliance, performance management of agents/managers, in accordance with the company guidelines and regulatory requirements

• Build strong relationship with senior management and internal stakeholders to deliver effective agency growth plan

• Keep abreast of market trends, landscape and industry best practice to ensure the competitiveness of new hire package and arrangement

• Manage the implementation of activity management under his/her supervision to achieve productivity improvement.

The Person

• University degree in any discipline with minimum of 15 years experience in insurance and/or financial services industry with at least 10 years in supervisory/managerial capacity agency channel knowledge is highly preferred

• Strategic thinking

• Excellent leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills

• Strong business acumen and analytical skill

• Solid experience in agency recruitment and management of life insurance

• Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken)

• Able to handle conflicts and self-motivated in difficult situations.
