Job Description

Our client is a prominent bank in Hong Kong undergoing a major digital evolution. We are looking for a high-calibre Senior Digital Product Manager to take end-to-end ownership of digital product development. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep banking experience who enjoys the hands-on process of building and optimizing e-banking platforms for Retail and Corporate segments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Innovation & Lifecycle: Lead the design and delivery of new e-banking features and services. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle-from conceptualization and roadmap planning to final launch and post-live optimization.
  • Market Strategy & Intelligence: Act as the subject matter expert on digital trends. Conduct deep-dive market analysis and competitor benchmarking to ensure the bank's digital offerings remain best-in-class.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Management: Navigate a complex web of internal partners. You will collaborate closely with IT/technical teams to build solutions, and work with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to ensure every innovation meets Hong Kong's strict regulatory standards.
  • Execution & Project Governance: Take full accountability for the detailed operational aspects of project delivery. This includes drafting robust Business Requirement Documents, overseeing comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and coordinating with external vendors to ensure quality.
  • Platform Evaluation: Continuously monitor platform performance (KPIs, user feedback, conversion rates) and formulate data-driven business plans for future enhancements.
  • Process Excellence: Review and refine internal operating procedures to ensure seamless digital service delivery while maintaining 100% compliance with internal policies and HKMA requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 9 years experience in Retail or Corporate banking, with a proven track record in digital product development (exposure to Deposits, Loans, or Fee-income products is preferred).
  • Digital Expertise: Exceptional knowledge of the digital landscape, including technical frameworks, mobile banking ecosystems, and evolving customer expectations.
  • Analytical & Commercial Mindset: Ability to balance innovative out-of-the-box thinking with a strong focus on cost-effectiveness, profitability, and risk management.
  • Influence & Negotiation: Proven ability to drive projects forward by influencing stakeholders and resolving conflicting priorities across different business units.
  • Communication: Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua). Strong presentation skills are a must for pitching product strategies to senior management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficient in MS Office (including Chinese word processing).
