Senior Design Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

. Lead the Technical & Design Department (Engineering, Design, Drafting).

. Act as the highest technical authority across all projects.

. Oversee design development from tender stage through to project completion.

. Review and approve design concepts, calculations, shop drawings, and technical submissions.

. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, codes, and client specifications.

. Drive constructability, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives.

. Resolve complex technical and interdisciplinary issues.

. Coordinate with Operations, Project Management, QA/QC, HSE, and Commercial teams.

. Represent the company in technical discussions with clients, consultants, and authorities.

. Provide technical support on contracts, variations, claims, and dispute resolution.

. Promote innovation, standardization, and continuous improvement

Authority

. Final approval of all technical and design deliverables.

. Authority to revise or reject non-compliant or high-risk designs.

. Recommend the appointment of external consultants and specialists.

Requirements

. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural or related discipline), recognized by the PE Board.

. Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
