To support the operations of the Jockey Club Dental Care Training Centre (JCDCTC) and carry out administrative duties
(b)
To deliver oral care workshops for the promotion of dental hygiene and preventive dental service
(c)
To deliver outreach talks if needed
(d)
To assist in staff recruitment, budgeting, fund control and acquisition of equipment and materials for the workshops
(e)
To implement quality assurance policies including health and safety procedures for training activities and
(f)
To maintain and enhance networks with professional bodies and agencies.
Requirements:
(a)
A recognised higher diploma in Dental Hygiene or equivalent
(b)
At least 6 years work and / or teaching experience in the relevant industry
(c)
Registered with the Dental Council of Hong Kong to practise as a Dental Hygienist
(d)
Proficiency in English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua
(e)
Good supervisory, communication and interpersonal skills and administrative abilities
(f)
Good records of linkage with the dental industry and
(g)
The ability to pass a trade test.
Notes:
(1)
The post is at the rank of Senior Instructor.
(2)
Candidates without the required academic qualification stated in the General Requirement (a) but possessing 12 years experience in the relevant industry and / or teaching may also apply. Where applicable, these candidates may be required to have a Qualifications Framework (QF) Level 3 qualification.
(3)
The work location is in IVE (Chai Wan).
(4)
The appointee may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and in designated places as assigned.
