Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Intelligence & Data Specialist to drive our company's most critical digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing advanced data intelligence that drives strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into impactful business intelligence using cutting-edge technologies. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep expertise in complex data ecosystems and a passion for transforming raw data into competitive advantages.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Strategic Projects: Drive Business Intelligence and Data Transformation projects from concept through design and implementation, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals
- Design Data Solutions: Design complex data solutions utilizing the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) to ensure data quality and reliability
- Optimize for scale: Optimize enterprise data solutions on Databricks and Microsoft Fabric to support big data processing and AI/ML workloads.
- Advanced Analytics & Reporting: Develop highly interactive, visually compelling, and performant Power BI dashboards to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
- AI/ML Integration: Collaborate with business leaders to integrate predictive modeling, machine learning into daily business operations.
- Data Governance & Best Practices: Follow and enforce standards for data architecture, security, and governance across all BI and AI platforms.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across various departments to understand their data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence or roles.
- Demonstrated experience driving impactful data transformation projects
- Solid understanding of modern data warehouse, data lakes, and data mesh concepts
- Language skills:
- English fluent
- Mandarin fluent
Skills:
- Business Intelligence & Data Engineering: Deep expertise in complex data analysis, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Architecture & Frameworks: Hands-on experience designing and implementing Medallion Architecture
- Platform Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
- Visualization: Expert-level skills in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and performance tuning
- Languages: Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, or Scala
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Prior experience working within the Manufacturing industry, with an understanding of supply chain, production metrics, and operational efficiency
- Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience integrating data from ERP and PLM systems (Agile, Oracle, SAP, etc).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Fabrics, Databricks).
- AI/ML: Familiarity with deploying and operationalizing machine learning models
