To achieve risk-based credit competitive advantage within SG Bank by:-
- Planning and implementing SG credit risk management process, in line with the Group's practices and policies
- Rolling out Group-wide Credit Risk initiatives and ensure alignment to the Group's guidelines while accommodating SG industry practices where applicable
- Ensuring credit risk related processes conform to prevailing regulatory requirements
- Monitoring of credit cycles and changes in internal / external operating environment and identify gaps / mitigation plans where appropriate
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct effective portfolio monitoring and review across key areas, including Stress Testing and Thematic Reviews, Early Warnings, Economic Capital Framework, and Risk Appetite Framework.
- Actively collaborate with Head Office to support the development and refinement of local credit risk management practices, frameworks, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with Head Office requirements and industry best practices.
- Partner with various lines-of-defense teams and Head Office risk counterparts to support comprehensive risk reviews processes that reinforce prudent risk management and sustainable business growth.
- Manage the day-to-day BAU processes to ensure timely and accurate deliverables while driving process enhancement to improve the data quality and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the preparations of reports and presentation materials for local and Head Office risk committees.
- Monitor macroeconomic trends, market developments, regulatory changes, and credit-related events, assessing their potential impact on the portfolio and escalating key observations where appropriate.
- Maintain a strong understanding of MAS and BNM regulatory requirements and assist with credit-risk related regulatory matters as required.
Job Requirements
Preferred level of Experience (by years / function / industry):
- Minimum 10 years of experience in credit risk analytics or credit risk management function at an established financial institution.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Excel VBA, Power Query, or Power Pivot is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk policies, risk management frameworks, and local regulatory requirements is preferred.
