Senior Counsel

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Counsel located in Taipei. The Senior Counsel will provide legal advice and counsel on various aspects of the academys operations and programs. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts; ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; managing litigation and disputes; and collaborating with HR, finance, and other departments to provide risk management and strategic legal support.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of contract law and experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
• Knowledge of compliance issues and regulatory requirements relevant to educational institutions or corporate training organizations
• Experience with litigation management and dispute resolution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide strategic legal advice to various departments
• Bachelor&aposs degree in Law; admission to the Bar
• Experience in an educational or corporate training environment is a plus
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin; knowledge of other languages is beneficial
