Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft contracts, including internal legal templates, with a focus on sales, retail, distribution, e-commerce, licensing, marketing, OEM/ODM services, and supply chain.
- Review contracts in accordance with internal review guidelines and policies.
- Organize and file contracts, court filings, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and render legal advice regarding operational, commercial and general corporate matters.
- Build workflows for contract approval, including the introduction and implementation of a contract management system for oversea offices.
- Coordinate with affiliates overseas for contract reviews and other legal requirements.
- Establish and lead a team to address complex cross-functional projects, streamline legal operations and processes, and enhance collaboration across regional offices.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Experience:
- 1015 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department, where experience in an in-house legal department is a must.
- Experience with a global organization is a plus.
- Experience with a consumer brand is a plus.
