The person will conduct agency reviews and trend analysis to identify potential gaps and areas for improvement and implement enhanced framework for the distribution representatives, enabling them to conduct proper sales advisory processes for their policyholders and provide them with quality advice and suitable recommendations.
- Provide support for day-to-day operation by assisting in the team's function
- Conduct training and engagement sessions with representatives on sales advisory process, compliance topics and the use of Fact Finder & Sales system
- Assist in monitoring competency standards required of supervisors and representatives to ensure alignment with regulatory and industry guidelines
- Assist in conducting audit for regulatory compliance requirements, including but not limited to, compliance of Life Insurance Association Members Undertaking (LIA MU) requirements by leaders, mystery shopping results, categorisation of Balanced Scorecard (BSC) grading, as well as managing appeals
- Assist in developing and implementing communication plans on competency standards
- Assist in execution of ad-hoc projects/initiatives
- Liaison with IT/ Group Riska Management / Stakeholders on any data extraction / investigation and reporting
- Updating of SOPs and Internal Guidelines when required
- Degree holder and above in related disciplines (Banking / Finance / Accounting / Business) preferred
- 1 – 3 years of compliance experience in Financial Services or Insurance Industry would be an added advantage
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Words and PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder management and communication skills
- Meticulous, professional, able to work well independently and as a team
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work with positive attitude
