Senior CloudOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux production environments.
• Deploy and optimize Nginx, including reverse proxy, load balancing, caching, and high-availability configurations.
• Design and maintain CDN acceleration, caching, origin routing, and traffic optimization strategies.
• Configure and operate DDoS protection, WAF, and related security solutions, including incident response during active attacks.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or Tencent Cloud, including compute, load balancers, VPCs, routing, security groups, monitoring, and logging.
• Troubleshoot production issues such as HTTP 502/504, upstream failures, network problems, and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop Shell/Python automation and work with engineering teams on deployment, releases, and incident resolution.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on Linux operations / CloudOps / system administration experience.
• Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and DNS.
• Strong hands-on experience with Nginx configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or Tencent Cloud.
• Good understanding of CDN architecture, caching, origin protection, and traffic routing.
• Knowledge of common DDoS attacks, including SYN Flood, UDP Flood, and HTTP/CC attacks.
• Hands-on experience with DDoS mitigation, WAF, Anti-DDoS, or protected CDN solutions.
• Strong Shell scripting skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing high-traffic or high-concurrency production systems.
• Real-world experience responding to large-scale DDoS or application-layer attacks.
• Cloudflare, OpenResty/Lua, Python, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins/GitLab CI, ELK/Loki experience.
• Experience supporting international or globally distributed infrastructure.

Language

• Professional Mandarin is required.
• English communication skills are a plus.
