Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, soil investigation reports, specifications and project requirements to identify key ground engineering design considerations.
- Assess ground conditions, technical risks and project constraints to develop practical engineering solutions for tender and project delivery.
- Prepare engineering analysis, design calculations, technical proposals and supporting documentation.
- Carryout design work in accordance with applicable codes, standards, regulations and project specifications.
- Use design and analysis software such as Plaxis 2D/3D, Slope/W and other engineering tools to support design solutions.
- Prepare and coordinate detailed construction drawings with drafting support.
- Conduct site visits to verify design assumptions against actual ground and site conditions.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams on technical matters, and provide guidance to junior engineers where required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum4 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design involving ground engineering, foundations or earthworks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Plaxis 2D and Plaxis 3D.
