Senior Business Management Expert
Title: Senior Business Management Expert (P6)
Compensation: Around RMB 2 million annually (open for discussion based on current compensation and expectations)
This role is based in BaoDing, China
Position Overview
This is a highly strategic business management role focused on understanding business performance, influencing management decisions, and driving organizational improvement.
The role is not a traditional reporting or finance analysis position. Instead, it serves as a core decision-support partner to the executive leadership team, leveraging financial and operational insights to improve business performance, enhance management effectiveness, and accelerate strategy execution.
The successful candidate will help transform the organization from a reactive, retrospective management model into a proactive, forward-looking operating model.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise-Wide Performance Analysis & Risk Management
Design and continuously optimize the Group's end-to-end business performance management framework.
Monitor critical business functions including:
Sales & Marketing
Product Development
Supply Chain
Manufacturing Operations
Finance
Establish ongoing business monitoring mechanisms and management dashboards.
Track key performance indicators such as:
Revenue and Sales Volume
Cost Structure
Profitability
Inventory and Asset Turnover
Operational Efficiency
Identify operational deviations, emerging trends, and performance risks.
Develop predictive risk assessment and early-warning mechanisms.
Independently deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc management analysis reports for executive decision-making.
2. Business Diagnosis & Executive Decision Support (Core Value)
Conduct deep-dive investigations into significant operational issues and business performance gaps.
Analyze cross-functional business challenges and identify key value drivers.
Diagnose root causes from a business perspective, including:
Product Portfolio Strategy
Cost Structure
Resource Allocation
Capacity Planning
Commercial Performance
Provide actionable recommendations, including:
Product portfolio optimization
Cost reduction opportunities
Resource reallocation
Capacity expansion or rationalization strategies
Business model improvements
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Improvement Execution
Partner closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and Finance teams.
Drive problem-solving initiatives and strategic improvement programs.
Develop implementation roadmaps with:
Clear action plans
Resource requirements
Milestones
Success metrics
Establish tracking and review mechanisms to ensure execution effectiveness.
Capture and institutionalize best practices into repeatable management processes.
4. Business Management System Development
Build and continuously improve the Group's management reporting and performance management framework.
Establish rolling forecast and business review mechanisms.
Introduce and implement proven management methodologies from leading enterprises.
Support organizational capability building and improve overall data-driven management maturity.
Candidate Requirements
Educational Background
Bachelor's degree or above. Major in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Statistics, Engineering, or related disciplines preferred.
Experience
10+ years of experience in:
Business Performance Management
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Strategic Operations
Business Finance
Corporate Strategy
Proven experience leading cross-functional business improvement initiatives.
