Coopman Search & Selection is partnering with a well-established global aviation aftermarket organisation to hire a Senior / Director Business Development professional based in Singapore. This opportunity is ideal for highly connected aviation commercial professionals with strong aircraft parts trading, MRO, leasing, or aftermarket sales experience across the Asia-Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive business development strategy and revenue growth across the Asia-Pacific aviation aftermarket
• Leverage an established industry network to originate new commercial opportunities with airlines, MROs, lessors, and OEM-adjacent partners
• Develop and close high-value deals across aircraft parts, rotables, engines, AOG support, and aftermarket services
• Build and manage senior-level relationships with airline procurement, engineering, and supply chain stakeholders
• Identify and develop strategic key accounts across the APAC region
• Negotiate commercial agreements, including parts supply contracts, consignment arrangements, and exchange/loan programs
• Support AOG and time-critical sales opportunities in coordination with operations teams
• Monitor market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitor activity within the aviation aftermarket sector
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure delivery, logistics coordination, and customer satisfaction
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and networking forums across the region
• Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial reporting to senior leadership
• Contribute to regional strategy development and long-term growth planning
Requirements:
• 10–15+ years experience within aviation aftermarket, aircraft parts trading, MRO sales, leasing, or related commercial aviation sectors
• Strong and active network across airlines, MROs, and leasing companies within the Asia-Pacific region
• Proven track record in senior business development, sales leadership, or commercial account management roles
• Deep understanding of aircraft parts supply chain, aviation logistics, and aftermarket trading structures
