Job Description
Responsibilities:
Business Requirements & Analysis
- Engage Business Heads and Business representatives to gather, analyse, and document business requirements
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to understand current and future-state processes
- Translate business needs into Functional Specification/User Stories/Process and data flows
- Ensure requirements are clear, structured, testable, and aligned with business objectives
Stakeholder and Vendor Management
- Serve as a primary liaison between Business stakeholders, vendor and IT team
- Facilitate discussions to resolve requirement gaps, ambiguities and conflicts
- Ensure vendor solutions are aligned with business needs and technical constraints
- Support governance process such as requirement sign-off, change requirement evaluation, and impact assessment
Solution Design and Implementation Support
- Collaborate with technical teams to clarify requirements and ensure correct system configuration and development
- Participate in solution design discussions, ensuring functional completeness and feasibility.
- Support system integration efforts, especially across distribution, CRM Support governance process such as requirement sign-off, change requirement evaluation, and impact assessment
- Monitor implementation progress and highlight risks or deviations.
Testing and Delivery
- Define and review test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Perform SIT, to validate that delivered solutions meet functional and business requirements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Process Improvement and Documentation
- Identify opportunities to streamline distribution process using system capabilities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, i.e. business requirement document, functional specification, process flows.
- Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvements.
AI-Enabled Business Analysis
- Leverage on AI tools to accelerate documentation, testing, generate insights from business/process data and stakeholders update and/or reporting.
- Promote adoption of AI-driven productivity within the project team.
Requirements:
- General Degree / Degree holder in Information Technology, Info Systems or equivalent.
- 5-8 years of experience in Business Analysis or IT project delivery.
- Proven experience in system implementation project (preferably Distribution Management System, Agent Portal, Regulatory Reporting)
- Experience in Financial Advisory (FA), Wealth Management, or Distribution domain is highly preferred.
- Technical & Functional:
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, SDLC/Agile delivery frameworks
- Experience with requirement management tools, e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Visio, BPMN
- Understand system integration concepts, e.g. APIs, data flows.
- AI & Digital
- Familiar with AI-assisted tools for requirement documentation and data analysis
- Ability to apply AI tools practically in project delivery
