Responsibilities
Purpose of the role
To drive audience engagement & brand affinity to audio brands through the strategic planning, execution & evaluation of audience initiated contests, on-ground events & on-line activations.
Scope of the role
Understand contest & event concepts, objectives & deliverables in order to develop compelling, effective & efficient propositions. Work in tandem with audio teams to ensure objectives are fulfilled.
Responsibilities
Partnership, Contests and Sponsorship Management
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop sponsor-friendly contest and event proposals
- Develop and manage contest mechanics aligned with branding and objectives of assigned audio network
- Work with Programme Director and Programme Executive of audio network to integrate contests into programming
- Track participation metrics and respond to listeners feedback and enquiries
- Oversee sourcing of prize sponsorships, and ensure contest terms and conditions, winner selection and prize fulfilment comply with relevant legal, regulatory and internal requirements
Event Planning & Execution
- Conceptualise, plan and execute events for the audio network across varying scales and formats
- Develop and maintain event plans, programme schedules, run sheets and other relevant documentation, including post-event evaluations
- Liaise with vendors, venues, partners and internal stakeholders to manage logistics, budgets, and timelines
Audience Engagement and Growth
- Collaborate with audio network, social media teams and other internal stakeholders to amplify reach and drive cross-platform engagement
- Leverage contests and events to grow databases, increase listenership and strengthen audience loyalty
- Monitor trends, listener behaviour and engagement metrics to inform future activation strategies
- Explore new and innovative ways to engage audiences through events, contests and experiential activations
Operational and Administrative Duties
- Manage audio event calendar whilst ensuring efficient communication flow with internal corporate stakeholders
- Manage prize fulfilment and winner communications
- Maintain contest rules, documentation and prize inventory
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, internal guidelines including risk management and event safety protocols
- Drive the alignment and standardisation of work processes to improve operational efficiency and consistency
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Marketing, project management, events management or equivalent
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in events or marketing related functions
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Demonstrates strong knowledge and application of end-to-end event planning and project management principles
- Proficient in social media and audience engagements
- Adaptable and able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, resourceful and self-motivated, with strong interpersonal skills
- Willing to work outside of office hours and on weekends when required
- A team player with strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Meticulous, proactive, creative and can think outside the box
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
