Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Institutional Banking Group, providing tailored financial solutions to meet their unique business needs
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and cross-sell a range of banking products and services to existing clients
  • Analyze client financial data, market trends, and industry dynamics to provide strategic advice and recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as credit, product, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients
  • Actively participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to represent the bank's interests effectively
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Institutional Banking Group's business strategy and growth initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of the Institutional Banking Group's products, services, and target market
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proficient in financial analysis, credit assessment, and risk management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets
