About the Role

Responsible for supporting specific functional / business areas in terms of information system needs

Job Description

  • Participate indiscussions with the business / program managers on understanding the scope of work, rules and procedures required to prepare documentation detailing the solution for the given business needs.

  • Responsible to filter the needs and wants of a requirement including the functional and non-functional requirements refine the varying messages as well as the requirements of the project stakeholders into a consistent single vision.

  • Bring innovation during solutioning in form of recommendations which improves the process through simplification.

  • Provides support on project execution such as preparing user requirements, quality control and coordinates with stakeholders to ensure the smooth and timely delivery on project

  • Adjudicate problem solutioning between stakeholders offer technical expertise to identify fact based solutioning.

  • PrepareTest requirement and test environmentto ensure that it iscomprehensive and meet the User Acceptance Test (UAT) needs.

  • Execute Test scripts, monitor and record test results against the business expectation according to the test objectives.

  • Reviewand signoff Solution documents, User Acceptance Test (UAT) plan and scenarios prepared by the business / program management teams within the stipulated timelines.

  • Work closely with business and technology stakeholders toresolveUAT defects.

  • Provide UAT clearance report after ensuring that all functionalities have been tested, defects have been identified and documented, impacts been assessed, and resolutions provided.

  • Prepare end user training guide and train the trainer prior to implementation

  • Perform post implementation verification and follow up production issue and its fixing (if any) prior to project closure.

  • Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet business requirements.

Minimum Job Requirement

  • Degree Holder in BusinessIT, Computer Science or a related discipline.

  • Candidates with 1 to 2 years working experience in life insurance operations and business analysis, and with knowledge in both operation and system areas are preferred.

  • Meticulous and able tomanage priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Good verbal and written communication skillsand good interpersonal skills.

  • Positive attitude, determination to succeed, willingness to share and learn.

  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal guidance and is a team player.

Specific Business Knowledge:

  • Preference for proficiency in both speaking and writing in English and Mandarin/Cantonese (for roles pertaining to Hong Kong operations only).
