Overview

The Technical Project Manager in SIMFONI Conductor is responsible for driving the end-to-end planning, coordination, governance, and delivery of the SIMFONI Conductor platform, which serves as the common deployment, orchestration, and integration layer for AI Clinical Decision Support System (AI-CDSS) solutions across healthcare clusters.

The role acts as the central coordination point between clinical teams, AI development teams, platform engineering teams, healthcare IT stakeholders, and governance bodies to ensure successful onboarding, deployment, and operationalisation of AI solutions within clinical workflows.

The Technical Project Manager provides leadership across multiple workstreams, translating business and clinical requirements into actionable delivery plans, managing stakeholder alignment, governance approvals, risks, dependencies, and implementation activities. The role supports the broader objective of establishing a shared healthcare AI platform that can be adopted across healthcare institutions and clusters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of SIMFONI Conductor initiatives.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, resource forecasts, budgets, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, quality standards, and funding constraints.

Stakeholder Engagement and Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as the primary liaison between clinical leads, healthcare institutions, AI development teams, platform engineering teams, cluster IT representatives, vendors, governance bodies, and management stakeholders.
  • Facilitate discussions, drive alignment, manage expectations, and coordinate resolution of project issues and dependencies.

Requirements Management and Solution Onboarding

  • Lead discovery workshops, requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and use case assessments.
  • Translate business, clinical, operational, and technical requirements into actionable plans.
  • Manage onboarding of AI models, agentic applications, and use cases from intake through deployment and operationalisation.

Governance, Risk and Compliance Management

  • Coordinate project governance activities including funding submissions, architecture reviews, security assessments, data governance reviews, and approval processes.
  • Maintain project risk and issue registers, implement mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with organisational, data privacy, cybersecurity, and healthcare governance requirements.

Platform Integration and Technical Delivery Coordination

  • Coordinate delivery activities across platform teams including EAI, HEALIX, NGEMR, NEHR, cloud infrastructure, and other enterprise services.
  • Manage technical dependencies, integration requirements, environment readiness, and deployment activities to ensure successful implementation across healthcare institutions and clusters.

Financial, Resource and Vendor Management

  • Support project budgeting, manpower planning, procurement activities, contract administration, vendor coordination, and funding utilisation tracking.
  • Monitor project resources and provide recommendations to optimise resource allocation and delivery outcomes.

Communications, Reporting and Executive Support

  • Prepare presentations, meeting summaries, and decision papers.
  • Ensure leadership and stakeholders have clear visibility of project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and recommendations.

Operational Readiness, Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Management

  • Coordinate testing, deployment readiness, operational transition, training, and handover activities.
  • Develop project management standards, onboarding frameworks, governance processes, and best practices to support scalable and sustainable adoption of SIMFONI Conductor across multiple use cases and institutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Healthcare Informatics, Digital Health, Business Administration, or Project Management would be advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, programme management, digital transformation, healthcare IT, enterprise technology, AI, data platforms, system integration, or related fields.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end project delivery, including project planning, requirements gathering, implementation, testing, deployment, operational transition, and benefits realisation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, workstreams, priorities, risks, dependencies, and timelines in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to engage and coordinate effectively across clinical, operational, technical, governance, vendor, and senior management stakeholders.
  • Strong project and programme management skills, including project planning, budgeting, resource management, risk management, issue management, dependency management, and change control.
  • Good understanding of healthcare IT systems, enterprise applications, system integration, cloud technologies, APIs, data governance, cybersecurity, privacy requirements, and technology delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, data analytics, digital health technologies, or enterprise digital platforms would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and report-writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organisational levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to manage ambiguity and drive stakeholder alignment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently while fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, professionalism, and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading complex projects and cross-functional workstreams.
  • Ability to coordinate and influence multidisciplinary stakeholders across clinical, operational, technical, and organisational domains.
