JOB SUMMARY
Manage the domestic and regional investment portfolios by performance monitoring, partner engagement, and asset-level initiatives that protect and enhance long-term value, providing broad exposure to portfolio oversight, cashflow tracking, governance processes, and ESG-related enhancements within an institutional investment platform.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor asset-level performance against market and fund-level benchmarks.
- Review periodic performance reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Review and challenge feasibility analyses for asset enhancement initiatives, including refurbishment, tenant mix optimisation, and operational improvements.
- Monitor the execution progress of approved asset initiatives.
- Engage with asset managers, property managers, and JV partners to ensure alignment with agreed business plans.
- Review operating reports, budgets, and capex proposals submitted.
- Manage information flow between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Integrate ESG metrics into asset performance reviews and reporting frameworks.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving long-term asset resilience, competitiveness, and institutional relevance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pass in Bahasa Melayu, including the oral test in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Business, Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government from any local or overseas higher learning institution
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in real estate investment, infrastructure, project finance, investment banking, or a related institutional investment role
- Demonstrated experience in financial modelling and investment analysis
- Good analytical and quantitative skills, with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity with data analysis tools is an advantage
- Strong interest in real estate and asset management
- Proactive, curious, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Skilled in writing and presentations
