We are seeking a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer with a Master's degree (or Ph.D.) and at least 3 years of practical experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design. The successful candidate will lead or contribute to analog/mixed-signal circuit design for display driver, PMIC, image-sensor, low noise touch analog front-end, or other mixed-signal products, and will participate in design, simulation, layout collaboration, silicon bring-up, and production ramp.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define circuit specifications and architect analog/mixed-signal blocks (LDOs, buck converters, op-amps, comparators, references, ADC/DAC, PLLs, bias circuits, Adaptive Equalizer, CDR, Current Conveyor etc.).
- Perform thorough circuit simulations (DC/AC/transient, corner analysis, Monte Carlo) using SPICE-based tools (HSPICE, Spectre, etc.).
- Produce schematic-level designs, perform parametric optimization, and generate simulation reports for sign-off.
- Collaborate closely with digital, layout, process, test, and system teams to ensure smooth mixed-signal integration.
- Support layout verification activities (LVS/DRC) and coordinate design-for-manufacturability and reliability requirements.
- Lead pre-silicon and post-silicon validation and debug; perform failure analysis and propose corrective actions.
- Apply low-power design techniques, EMC/ESD protection strategies, and reliability best practices.
- Prepare design documentation, test plans, and present results in design reviews.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers; improve team processes and tool flows.
Requirements:
- Master's degree (required) or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design.
- Proficient with SPICE-class simulators (HSPICE, Spectre, etc.) and able to perform corner, mismatch, and Monte Carlo analyses.
- Strong understanding of analog circuit fundamentals: amplifiers, references, power management, ADC/DAC, PLLs, noise and matching issues.
- Experience with silicon validation, pre-/post-silicon debug and failure analysis.
- Familiar with layout coordination, LVS/DRC flows, and process design rules.
- Good technical communication skills and ability to write engineering reports in English.
- Scripting/automation skills (Python, TCL, Perl) are a plus.
