About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Taipei. You'll own daily accounting operations, support our reporting and closing cycles, and partner with overseas entities as we scale.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting operations: AP, AR, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and review month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, including reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support tax filings and VAT returns; liaise with external accountants and auditors
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Operations and overseas entities
- Support internal control processes and help improve accounting workflows
- Take on ad hoc finance and administrative projects as needed
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (TWCPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of Big 4 audit experience, plus 1+ year of commercial accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Comfortable working with overseas teams across time zones
Nice to Have
- Experience with US GAAP
- Experience in MNC, startup, tech, or SaaS environments
- Experience supporting overseas subsidiaries or multi-entity structures
- Interest in AI, cloud infrastructure, or emerging technologies
